Several injuries or disorders can occur in the hand and upper limb. Anything from fractures to nerve injuries such as carpal tunnel. These injuries may be traumatic, others may relate to overuse disorders such a de Quervains tenosynovitis (inflammation of the thumb tendons often associated with pregnancy). Each individual's treatment plan is adapted to suit them and their injury.
